So what is this new Con-Ads.com?

Con-Ads.com is a classifieds site for university students in Montreal (Concordia, UQAM, UdM, and McGill) and run by Concordians volunteers.

It is a Not-For-Profit site that aims to facilitate the interaction between students when looking to buy or sell their used items. It helps also those looking for apartments or selling books. Some students can ask for help from other students as well.

Imagine the number of announcements made everyday within the university (SGW and Loyola) and how many trees are being cut to feed all these printer houses. Students should strive to protect the environment and the natural resources because the future needs them. All of us need a cleaner environment.

In other words, you like to post an Ad and have a successful Ad without much pain. Just send it over this cyber space and let the Concordia Community grab it when they need it. This is much better than putting all those colorful ads around 1000 boards and play the Mickey Mouse game with board organizers turning down non-authorized ads every now and then.

In addition, I do not understand the hope of Ad posters when you see thousands of Ads scattered around the campus when you have seconds to skim that board. Would not be much easier for all of us to sit down on a PC and offer our gadget or ask for a service?

Con-Ads team would like to keep this site running on a volunteer basis and always looking for support. The best way to support the site is to tell others about it and make them aware of the possibilities to save their environment and get their things done.
